Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about mobile notary services, appointments, pricing, or what to expect? We’ve answered some of the most common questions below.

Do you travel to me?

Yes. St. Louis Mobile Notary Services is a mobile service, which means we come to you. Appointments can take place at homes, businesses, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, correctional facilities, and other agreed-upon locations.

Is the travel fee included in the price?

Yes. Travel fees are included in our listed service prices. If your request involves special circumstances or additional services, your final price will be confirmed before your appointment.

How do I request an appointment?

Complete the Request Service form on our website with your contact information, service needed, preferred date and time, and appointment location. We will contact you to confirm availability, appointment details, and final pricing.

Does submitting the Request Service form confirm my appointment?

No. Submitting the form is an appointment request. Your appointment is confirmed after St. Louis Mobile Notary Services verifies availability and appointment details with you.

How do I pay for my appointment?

After your appointment details and final pricing are confirmed, you will receive a secure payment link to complete your booking.

What identification do I need?

Each person signing a document that requires notarization should have a current, acceptable form of identification available at the appointment. If you are unsure whether your identification can be accepted, contact us before your appointment.

Should I sign my documents before the notary arrives?

If your signature needs to be notarized, do not sign the document beforehand unless you have been specifically instructed that a previously signed document is acceptable. When in doubt, wait until the notary arrives.

Do you provide witnesses?

Witness availability depends on the appointment. If your documents require witnesses, let us know when requesting service. Additional witness services are $50 per witness when available.

Do you handle loan and real estate documents?

Yes. We provide mobile signing services for mortgage purchases, refinances, seller packages, cash buyer packages, and other real estate and loan documents.

Can you come to a hospital, nursing home, or assisted living facility?

Yes. We provide mobile notary appointments at hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Please provide information about the facility and any access or visitor requirements when submitting your request.

Do you provide notary services at correctional facilities?

Yes. Correctional facility appointments are available starting at $200. Because these appointments may require additional coordination, please provide the facility information and any known visitation requirements when requesting service.

Do you provide apostille services?

We provide apostille facilitation services starting at $299. Any required Missouri notarizations associated with the service are included. The specific process depends on the document and where it will be used, so we will review your needs before confirming service.

Can you notarize a Power of Attorney?

Yes. Mobile appointments for Power of Attorney documents are available. The person signing must meet the legal requirements necessary for the notarization to be performed.

Can you tell me what type of document I need or give me legal advice?

No. A notary public is not an attorney and cannot provide legal advice, select legal documents for you, or explain your legal rights. If you have questions about what document you need or the legal effect of a document, you should speak with a qualified attorney.

What if I don't see the service I need listed on the website?

Contact us. We provide additional mobile notary and specialty services that may not be individually listed on the website. Tell us what you need and we’ll let you know whether we can assist.
